Daniela P. (24), a Romanian national, admitted keeping a brothel at an apartment in Sligo in 2011 after being visited by an undercover Garda. She was described as a single mother of a three year old who had been living in Ireland for the last year. She previously worked in fast food but had been made unemployed. Her solicitor said she was “a pawn in a much larger enterprise”. The judge released her on her own bail of €100 and ordered her to leave the country immediately.
