Angela C. (34), a Moldovan national, was charged with keeping a brothel at her home address in Cavan on 29 September 2011. Her activity was described as a “cottage” industry. A Garda witness said on entering the apartment they met Angela C. who freely admitted that she was engaged in sexual activity for payment. She was due to leave the country shortly. The judge directed she pay €500 forthwith.
