Anisoara P. (25) and Ann Maria P. (19), both Romanian nationals, pleaded guilty to living off the earnings of prostitution of another person and aiding and abetting that prostitution at an address in Ennis, Co. Clare on February 11 2013. The judge sentenced them each to 10 weeks in prison. Their solicitor said they had cooperated fully and had only become involved in prostitution in order to send money home to their families who were living in dire poverty.
